Condominium living has been the real estate market trend. It should be, now with land becoming too limited a resource for the city dwellers. If you’re thinking about buying an urban condominium, you have at least 514 options to consider.
That’s how many units are up for sale, according to a new survey of the region’s urban condo market. The report from T.L. Metzger & Associates LLC, an Albany real estate brokerage, also says 161 condo units were purchased or reserved in 2007.
Both numbers represent a dramatic change from years past, when buyers looking for a Capital Region condo had few units from which to choose. But 2007 seems to have been a year when the area’s condo market finally blossomed.
