Curtains vs. Blinds

Here’s one interior design issue that is big, in my opinion. Would you go for curtains or blinds?

Draping the windows with curtains or blinds can be a difficult decision. Curtains can give you that natural look, and contribute to the elegance of any room. Blinds, on the other hand, are both functional and decorative.

In deciding, it’s best to consider your own personal tastes. Though curtains and blinds are generally attuned to both sexes, women commonly prefer curtains. Men, on the other hand, are inclined to choose blinds because of the perceived masculinity and efficiency.

In the end however, aesthetics is often not as important as functionality. So long as what you hang on your window serves its purpose, the choice between curtains and blinds becomes of less importance.
