Be careful when entrusting someone a replica of your set of keys to your apartment. Be sure that person is someone you have faith in. If by accident, you misplace your keys or find out that your keys are in the hands of someone you be suspicious of, get in touch with your landlord and ask for a new set of locks. There might be a small charge for this repair but at least you’ll have some peace of mind. If you happen to live in a smaller building or have your own entry, be wary at all times. Take your apartment key in your hand as you come near to your apartment entrance at any time of day. You are more defenseless when you are probing your keys at your doorstep.
